What to Expect

This virtual event will take place on Gather.town, an interactive platform that mimics the experience of in-person gathering. Each person navigates the virtual event space with an avatar.  Communication formats include video, audio, and chat. 

All presentations/workshops will be interpreted in ASL.
We will provide instructions for enabling live captioning and, as always, we will read the chat out loud so silent participants are included in group conversation.

About Stoned & Fruity

Stoned & Fruity—AKA Anzi (they/he/we), DisabiliT4T's Founding Steward—is a disabled, trans stoner who creates inventive edibles like sprinkles, salt packets, and instant lattes, as well as herbal pre-rolls that offer a more curated high.

Stoned & Fruity was Anzi's primary source of income when they became disabled by Long COVID. But when the latest COVID wave started picking up back in July 2023, none of the queer/leftist events he relied on for income agreed to resume universal masking, as had been the expectation earlier in the pandemic.

Stoned & Fruity has been involuntarily on hiatus since then, and Anzi has had to shift entirely to online SW in an effort to survive.

That's what moved Anzi to take the leap and found DisabiliT4T—to address the unmet material and social needs of chronically ill and disabled folks that the queer community at large. 

Bringing the story full circle, Stoned & Fruity is excited to co-present this first of many opportunities for other vendors and creatives to earn income in a supportive community, without risking their health!
